Required Notice Pursuant to House Bill 23-1105 – HOA and Metropolitan District Homeowners’ Rights Task Force
House Bill 23-1105 created the HOA and Metropolitan District Homeowners’ Rights Task Forces to examine certain matters in communities that are governed by these entities. The Metropolitan District Homeowners’ Rights Task Force will review, among other matters, tax levying authority and practices, foreclosure practices, communications with homeowners and governance policies. A requirement of the new law is that we notify you of the creation and existence of the Metropolitan District Homeowners’ Rights Task Force prior to its first meeting. Below is the regular meeting schedule. The Board of Directors may call special meetings or cancel a regular meeting as may be needed. All notices of meetings will be posted at least 24 hours prior to the meeting in compliance with Colorado Revised Statutes.
Regular meetings are scheduled for the second Monday of January, April, July, and October, at 11:00 a.m. via teleconference.
Notices of board meetings are posted on the website or when online posting is not available at the intersection of 5th and Yampa Street.
